Jerusalem Ed Tech Solutions (JETS) has opened registration for the second cohort of its online course for teachers, "21st Century Instruction: Beyond the Classroom to the Global Community". The course offered on April 9 - June 18, 2013, is designed to familiarize teachers with online tools, skills, and methodologies that can empower them to teach online or to utilize online tools to maximize learning in their classrooms.
Participants will attend ten weekly 1.5 hour webinars supplemented with 2-3 hours of asynchronous, independent coursework. Each participant will also be required to submit an interactive post as a collaborative learning exercise. The course is completed completely online and can be taken from anywhere with a high speed internet connection.
