If we asked you to show us a way Israel lives in your life through a photograph, what photo would you choose to share, and what caption would you write to go along with it?
Israel exists in our everyday lives in ways that are unique and personal to each of us. In summer 2013, the iCenter asked people to share these stories and connections over Facebook and Twitter. Through these photos and captions, we discovered the stories of over 130 people, places, families, and objects that connect people with Israel. This activity can be a great conversation starter. It can also be an interpretive text-based learning activity, using the photos and captions in the collection. The article includes a number of approaches to consider in using this rich collection of people's connections to Israel.
