Hebrew College - Shoolman Graduate School of Jewish Education announces opening of registration for 2014 Master of Jewish Education Degree. The Master of Jewish Education may be completed either as a stand-alone degree or with specialization in Jewish special education, early childhood Jewish education, Jewish informal education, or Jewish day-school education. Students for the Master of Jewish Education may complete coursework entirely online or, if you live within commuting distance of Hebrew College, as a combination of on-campus and online study.

This 36-credit degree, which includes supervised field experience in your home community, may be completed in two years as a full-time student or in two years plus the intervening summer as a part-time student.

Building on Hebrew College’s long-standing tradition of training outstanding Jewish educators, the Shoolman Graduate School of Jewish Education offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines leadership for learning, pedagogic application, and social and spiritual learning; supervised field experience; and opportunities to specialize in an area of concentration.

As an MJEd candidate, you will join a dynamic community of online students from around the country and the world in an interactive virtual classroom with Hebrew College faculty. You will also build a personal relationship with your faculty adviser, who will help you to create an individualized program and who will serve as your mentor and guide.

Application Deadline – May 15, 2014

Qualified students are eligible to receive a generous annual tuition financial-‐aid package for the three-year, part-time program.

See Master of Jewish Education web page  for further information and registration.
