Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) is proud to introduce BunkConnect, an affordability initiative built on the success of FJC’s One Happy Camper program. BunkConnect is a referral program that makes finding the perfect camp easy by offering special introductory rates at participating camps for eligible families at many of the best Jewish camps across the country. Through BunkConnect, first-time campers of all Jewish backgrounds (including Jewish day school students) can choose from a variety of high quality summer experiences. The program is specifically designed for families for whom Jewish camp might not be financially feasible - including families with moderate incomes.

FJC and partner BunkConnect camps believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the magic of Jewish camp. After all, spending summers at Jewish camp is how kids discover who they really are, build connections to the Jewish future, and create memories they’ll hold onto for their entire lives. And, perhaps more importantly to the campers themselves, it’s just plain fun!

We are proud to launch BunkConnect as a national pilot with a wide array of summer experiences for Summer 2015 from over 75 camps across the United States (Canada – we hope to be there in subsequent summers!). You can expect to find summer experiences at special rates (40-60% off) from Jewish camps representing all major Jewish movements and denominations, Zionist, JCC, independent and specialty camps.

BunkConnect is an easy to use online system. After income-eligible families of all Jewish backgrounds supply some basic, confidential information into the new tool, BunkConnect matches them with available camp sessions at low introductory rates (40%-60% off list prices). This initiative is modeled after the success of FJC’s One Happy Camper program – a need-blind grant initiative for first-time campers.
